The principal is simple, you pass an electric current (12 volt from your cars electrical system) thru a mixture of water and baking soda to produce hydrogen and oxygen, while the engine is operating. The gases are pulled into the engine by engine vacuum and/or the air intake. Then it is burned with the gasoline or diesel you normally burn as fuel.
